In our last newsletter we provided information on the ongoing reforms to the area for sample reception in our laboratory in Zwijnaarde. In the meantime, the dust has settled and the reforms are finished!
Support: guidelines for sample packaging and collection
We want to provide the most efficient support to our customers, starting at the point of sampling, all the way through to the interpretation of the analysis results. We have compiled specific guidelines for our customers in order to ensure a swift and flawless sample registration, as well as to avoid delays caused by for example damaged samples due to incorrect packaging.
On Monday 18 March, we’ve performed a method update regarding our analyses of fosetyl aluminium in order to keep supporting the different market needs from, amongst others, the bio and baby food sector.
During the months May and June Ciboris organises two trainings essential for persons in charge of quality and purchase in the agri-food sector. The Primoris group is proud to announce the official opening of Primoris Costa Rica, located in Alajuela,offering analytical services to Central America and Caribbean countries. The brand new lab in Costa Rica is equipped with state-of-the-art equipment, in order to support the market with high-quality analyses on pesticides and contaminants in food, feed and water.
We have updated the changes to the European legislation on our website on 19 April. We provide an update of these changes every two weeks, in order to closely monitor the current and future legislation.
Proficiency tests are part of Primoris’ everyday operation. These are independent tests that try to verify the analysis quality of a laboratory. This article provides you with an overview of the proficiency tests in which Primoris participated in March and April.
Last year Primoris donated € 0.50 per sample received in 2018 to 3 charities or organisations that were suggested by our customers and employees. In this newsletter we focus on the support we gave to the Belgian Food Banks.
